Australia's artist-astronaut redefining creative experiences from sea, to summit, to space
On a mission to bring art to space and space to art, Sarah Jane Pell is the first Australian artist-astronaut candidate. Her keynote event at the Australian Office in Taipei brought together guests from diverse industries. Hosted by Australia's Representative Cathy Raper as a key public diplomacy event on Women in STEAM.

In her remarks Dr Pell paid her respects to the Indigenous people of Taipei and Melbourne for their "custodianship of country, culture, community and cosmology, being vital to the longevity and health of all humanity."
She presented case studies of her experiments testing the limits of art practice by staging performances in extreme environments. |
Dr Pell visit to Taiwan as a guest presenter at Art Taipei and the Boomerang Luncheon, are Studio Ivanova projects.
