Vibrant Vision
The first of its kind art exhibition, surveying 6,000 years of Taiwanese Indigenous visual art making across all 16 tribes.
This project is the product of extensive field research conducted directly within these communities.
Annie Ivanova traveled from ocean shores to mountain tops visiting indigenous artists from every tribe as part of a year-long project. She is the first and only foreign curator to undertake such pioneering work. Vibrant Vision was finalist in the inaugural Australian Arts in Asia Awards.
Vibrant Vision is a unique artists development and exhibition project that celebrates the role contemporary Taiwanese indigenous artists, designers and craftspeople play in keeping the cultural richness of the island alive.
